Be Thou My Vision
Updated: Sep 15, 2020
If you look carefully at the book on the last page of my website, the traditional words to the hymn "Be Thou My Vision" are written there. A good part of my ancestry is Irish and this hymn was my favorite and my mother's as well. You'll find it in the novel, Love Letters From Appalachia, scheduled for publication in the Spring of 2021. You'll also find it on Soundcloud in the blog post section just before the words to the hymn. You don't have to be a person of faith to love the tune. I hope you love it as much as I do.
My vision in between editing my manuscript and getting Love Letters From Appalachia published is to continue to write short stories that won't be published anywhere but here, or perhaps on a contest website. I'll let you know when that happens. You can get a taste of my writing style by clicking onto The Talisman at https://shortfictionbreak.com/the-talisman/
Keep checking in with me and feel free to post comments here (as long as they're not political, religious, or not in the spirit of respect and intelligent discourse). I love a good conversation!
